back...

its been a long time since i have posted on here...i was just looking at my blog last night and noticed that i said the exact same thing the last time i posted also...so ya, its been pretty busy...and honestly...it doesnt look like its gonna get any easier any time soon...i recently bought a house...there is so much i have done...but there is so much still to do...the kitchen has been a work in progress for three months so far...and i am guessing it is gonna be at least another two months before i can get to it...i've got two trips to maine coming up soon...a camping/canoeing trip i am working on...some summer concerts to plan...blah blah blah...

so i've been learning a lot lately...i am getting older...i've known that for awhile...and by older i mean that i feel i am entering the "next phase" of life...i bought my first house...i do things like landscaping and mowing...i love to be at home and do small projects...like painting a room or building something...i really enjoy a good dinner and conversation with a close friend...and traveling has become something i enjoy...just a little less often that i used to...i'm pretty sure i am getting older...

i sort of feel like i am liking it though...there is a sense of anticipation about this new phase of life...i dont really know what it is...but i am anticipating some big...good...changes...

i am going to thailand soon...cant wait for that one...that is where i am anticipating most...i know that i still love student ministry...and i can even go so far as to say that i am loving it more than ever...more balanced and more professional and more simple all at the same time...but here's the deal...i feel a change coming sometime down the road...like maybe college ministry...or missions ministry...or student ministry administration...or something...i dont know...i am sure it will be awhile...but its just kinda exciting knowing something is coming...it makes life a little more exciting...
