something learned

tonight i thought i was going to have to become a vegetarian...i was reading (again) genesis 1...the creation story...in verse 29 god says that he gives plants and fruit-bearing trees to man as food...its after the section that he explains that animals are under man's rule and authority...i just found it interesting that there was a section that was completely separate that talks about food for man and it didnt include anything about meat or animals...which, if you know me, is not a pretty thought...

so i googled it and my anxiety was put to rest...in genesis 9, after the flood, god tells noah and his family that he can eat the animals...i guess because the flood destroyed all the plants? i dont know...

it was cool to learn something new from scripture tonight...

i'm gonna go eat a cheeseburger now...
